This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 02, 2009:
Guess I would like to know more about the Jesus in me, and what was written by his own words before someone changed a lot of his meanings around.
Apparently, some of the scrolls were found and updated so that they can be read better, according to local radio station, and sixteen of them are on display at the Toronto Museum.....haven't been yet, but am looking forward to it.

Help

Jesus said and did some really cool things and the power of his belief in himself and who he was is one of the most meaningful lessons I learned from his life. Nothing … not even the threat of torture and death … could convince him to be anything other than who he truly was. How many of us trade off our real selves just so we fit in with the popular group? If you see the scrolls in Toronto, let me know; it would be worth a drive from Maryland to see them.
I certainly will Barb, and thanks for your sharing your love.
Namaste
Apparently, it's the “Dead Sea Scrolls” that were found, and these are what are on display. However, my comment on what history had presented itself through time, in the bible, does indeed still hold water of what was done when it came to Jesus' writings….sorry for the miss-print. ()

Such a wonderful oppurtunity to see the scrolls,
I have read some info about them and recentley listened to an audio related to Mary Magdelene and Jesus..
Knowing Jesus more and learning about his life, his wisdom and profound actions, realness and teachings is something I imagine will take me this life time and possibly more…: )
There is much to discover, but how glorious that we are…
Yes even through his dark night he did not move from his truth, the popular groups do fade eventually, yet the real roots and foundations of pure love always remain as brilliant and clear as ever more…
Thank you Mum for an inspiring and beautiful post..
Love
Ange..
“Yes even through his dark night he did not move from his truth,……” I love how you worded that paragraph, Ange!
I have read a wonderful book called, “The Two Marys”…The Hidden History of the Mother and Wife of Jesus, by Sylvia Browne. Sylvia's 'Spirit Guide,' Francine, says much about what happened to Jesus through his many journey's, and I was captivated from beginning to end!

Wow- you'll actually get to see the Dead Sea scrolls! How wonderful. There's quite a lot of info on what they contain; and it's been quite exciting how they were discovered and then translated in our -my- lifetime!
Some info on them - http://www.ibiblio.org/expo/deadsea.scrolls.exhibit/intro.html
